St John’s church offers a range of services to suit different worship styles. Regular services are listed below: use the link to the right for details of special services.
This is usually a said communion service. On the first Sunday of each month, the choir join us to celebrate Matins.
This is an informal service for all ages, with no books: all you need is on an overhead screen. The service is preceded by hot drinks and toast at 9:45am.
This is a choral service, which alternates between communion and evensong each week, beginning with communion on the first Sunday of each month.
This is a said communion service. Most people stay for tea or coffee in church after the service.
Daily prayer is said at 8:30 each day in the church, except Thursday and Sunday, when there are other early morning services.
All are welcome at any of our services. Do stay after any of our services for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat.
