Choir

Saint John’s has an active 4-part choir that forms an integral part of the worship at St Johns. The choir sings at 10am and 6.30pm each Sunday, and also sings Matins at 8.45am on the first Sunday of each month.

The choir is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music and enables those who wish to work on the Voice for Life scheme, and also the Bronze, Silver and Gold awards. The choir enjoy fellowship at the Spring Choir Dinner and a summer social with the Juniors.

The choir rehearses on Thursday evenings, 7.30-8.45pm during term-time. It is always ready to welcome new members - the ability to read music is helpful, but on-the-job training is available!
